A colorful and engaging fleet graphic solution for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Agency. A new shuttle service, unique to Warner Center, located in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles County’s San Fernando Valley.
Warner Center is a 1970’s-era business park in a neighborhood previously dominated by the aerospace industry, which has not had a presence there for 20-30 years. The challenge was how convey to Metro’s existing ridership that there is now a separate shuttle that services only Warner Center, and how to signal that this new service is separate yet connected to the original route service. The project’s accelerated timeline required a design turnaround from concept to production in less than two weeks.
The highly saturated, dynamic geometric elements convey movement and a celebration of the area’s revitalization.
